People Matter to God

        God values ALL people; so much so that He sacrificed His Son so that we might live with Him for eternity.  Because all people matter to Him, all people must matter to us.  All we do and say as a local church is to be done for the purpose of bringing others closer to God.

Changed Lives                                                      

        Success will never be measured by how many chairs we can fill.  Changed-lives will be the standard of measure.  It is impossible to begin and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ and not be changed.  This is true for new believers and lifelong followers.

Unity                          

        God desires His children to live in unity.  There is no greater testimony of Christ than Christians living in harmony with one another.  We are the bride of Christ and as such, regardless of the cost, must strive to present ourselves beautiful to Him and others.

Grace Oriented

        But for the grace of God, we would all be destined for an eternity without Him…an eternity of suffering and shame.  He accepts us not by our words or works but through His grace alone.  We must offer the same unconditional acceptance to all, so that all may know Him.

Authority and Application of Scripture

        Scripture alone is man’s final authority.  We must go to and remain in God’s Word so that it will guide our words and ways.  We will strive to teach God’s Word with integrity so that seekers believe in Christ and believers mature in Him.  We will seek to be creative and relevant without compromising the absolutes of Scripture.

Excellence in Ministry

        We ultimately serve God, not men.  We seek to honor Him by maintaining high standards in our ministries.  God deserves nothing less than our best.  Excellence is not perfection; it is the best we can do with what we have.
